Boarding Option for Mater Dei Catholic College Students

Mount Erin Boarding House is a weekday boarding facility for students in Years 7-12. Located in picturesque grounds adjacent to the Mount Erin Presentation Convent on Edmonson Street, the Boarding House provides excellent facilities for rural students from across the Riverina.  Mater Dei boarders catch a local school bus from the boarding house to the College each day.

Staff at Mount Erin work to provide a safe and happy environment for all of the students in their care.  Outside of school hours, boarders have the support of boarding staff and tutors and can utilise facilities such as a swimming pool, oval, cricket nets and netball courts. Boarders may also attend extra-curricular activities such as music lessons and sporting activities.

For transport to and from home each weekend, there are boarders' bus runs travelling via Adelong to Tumut, via Temora and West Wyalong to Lake Cargelligo, and via Darlington Point to Griffith.  This allows students from these areas to continue their Catholic education through to Year 12.  Regular daily school buses to outlying communities are also available.
