School Fees

School Fees for 2022

The total cost of education for a student at Mater Dei Catholic College remains at a level that still sees Catholic Education accessible for the vast majority of those we are called to serve.

Years 7 and 8: $4,800.00 per child, per annum 

Years 9 and 10: $4,900.00 per child, per annum 

Year 11: $5,000.00 per child, per annum 

Year 12: $5,000.00 per child, per annum 

Weekday Boarding: $15,000.00 per child, per annum

Sunday and Weekday Boarding: $16,490.00 per child, per annum

As you can appreciate, we too must pay our bills. Each Fee Payer is required to either pay fees in full within 30 days of the invoice date or alternatively enter into a regular payment arrangement by returning the completed School Fee Agreement within 30 days of the invoice date.  While term payments are preferred, the College is open to flexible payment arrangements as follows:

Please note the above repayment schedule is based on standard tuition only and does not account for subject levies and additional costs. Any fees in arrears for 2021 will be added to this schedule. If families have not entered into an arrangement with the College for this year or commenced a payment option (see above) by the end of February, they will be required to pay their fees in full within 30 days of the invoice date.

Further to the standard tuition fee, the College charges a consumables levy for the following subjects:

Years 7 to 10: Agriculture, Design and Technology, Food Technology, Graphics Technology, Industrial Technology Metal, Industrial Technology Timber, Photography and Digital Media, Technology Mandatory and Visual Arts.

Years 11 and 12: Agriculture, Construction Pathways, Design and Technology, Hospitality, Metals and Engineering, Photography and Digital Media and Visual Arts.

A senior student undertaking a TVET Course (at TAFE) will be levied an annual fee per year to off-set the considerable costs of TAFE courses.

As per the College Laptop agreement, Parents/Carers share the cost of laptop repairs required during the school year. Parents/Carers may be billed for the cost of replacement parts, with the College paying freight and labour costs.

Family Discounts for children attending Mater Dei Catholic College and Kildare Catholic College, in accordance with Catholic Schools Office policy, are listed below:

1st Child Full Fee

2nd Child 20% off the second child’s school fees

3rd Child 50% off the third child’s school fees.

4th Child 90% off the fourth child’s school fees.

5th Child 90% off the fifth child’s school fees.

It is imperative that you put some form of reference, such as your family reference number (located on your fee statement) or child’s name and year so that we can identify the deposit.

PLEASE NOTE: Genuine inability to meet the school fees does not exclude access by the child of a family genuinely committed to Catholic faith and practice. The College will always do its best to ensure students of Catholic faith and practice can attend Mater Dei Catholic College.
