Year 8 to Year 12 Enrolment Process and Timeline
For Years 8 to 11, enrolment applications for the following year are open from March to November.
Mater Dei does not generally accept mid-year enrolments but applications will be considered on an individual basis using the following guidelines:
• is Catholic;
• recently relocated to Wagga during the school year; and,
• their most recent school report is highly commendable.
Prospective Year 11 students are invited to attend the Year 11 Information Night held in early Term 3. This evening provides information about senior courses on offer as well as the enrolment process and timeline for senior students. At the enrolment interview elective courses are selected for Year 9-12 students.
Enrolment Process
1. Visit the 'Enrol Now' page at the Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga.
Before you begin, download a copy of our ‘Enrolling at a Catholic Primary or Secondary School Overview’.
This includes an overview of the process, links to online enrolment and a checklist to ensure that you have everything you need to submit your application.
For detailed support, please refer to the Help Guide, which includes step-by-step instructions and tips.
Please ensure you have scanned/photographed the following documents, as these must be uploaded in the online form:-
- your child’s birth certificate
- previous School Reports.
- baptismal certificates (if you are of a Catholic background)
- any visa/citizenship documents

If you have any issues with the online enrolment process or you are unable to use the online form for any reason, please use the paper form or contact your school office for assistance.
Please Note: The capacity for split families (families where parents live at different addresses to complete an online application is not currently available, please use the paper form linked above.
Mount Erin Boarding
Applications for Boarding at Mount Erin occur as a separate process from the Mater Dei Enrolment process.
Students from Year 7 to Year 12 have the option of Weekly Boarding at Mount Erin Boarding (MEBS), which is located on Edmondson Street.
